    It seems like some of you guys don't even watch the games. You just look at his babip and decide he's awful. As long as he's providing good D he doesn't need to hit that well to be useful.

    Holmes looks pretty good, nice delivery. Cease looks like the ball just flies out of his hand. He had nice movement on his curve but it was all over the place.

    Toussaint's curve looks good, but he was all over the place in the vid. Sheffield looks like he's throwing really easy and he's sitting at 92-93 as a lefty. Pretty good.

    Don't tell anyone here than people can improve and exceed expectations and that every player doesn't follow a single set of rules.

    I haven't watched any games since he's been called up so I don't know what his swing looks like, but I don't think you can completely determine he is a really, really bad hitter just based on his stats in AAA this year. Before you jump to conclusions I'm not saying he's good. I'm arguing with your methods for determining if he's good. As you said, you have no opinion on his D, so you're saying he's a terrible player based on AAA wRC+. I agree with Caper that he would be a good new version of McCoy next year.
