  1. Check out The Yankees Played the Most Embarrassing Game Ever. | 1256 from Talkin' Yanks (Yankees Podcast) on Amazon Music. https://music.amazon.ca/podcasts/e6e1060d-bb65-4d6d-91d9-3fbf1ba7d6e9/episodes/787efec9-ef8a-489e-83ad-51f1d63626fc/TALKIN-YANKS-YANKEES-PODCASTTHE-YANKEES-PLAYED-THE-MOST-EMBARRASSING-GAME-EVER--1256?ref=dm_sh_veKrrcL6gm5cgoEpfUW1yXKW7
  2. Can't wait to listen to the next Talkin Yanks podcast with Jomboy Have been a subscriber ever since the 4 game sweep and it's very satisfying I must say
  3. Questionable for sure but it may have just been a pinky hangnail
  4. it's probably too light but the Marlins are one of the teams that might actually want/value a couple of this bats Toronto has at/near MLB Maybe it's RJ Shreck or Pinango or Kasevich instead of Roden/Loperfido.

  6. Yeah even if he never bounces back, he's probably an SP3 Sandy and Mitch Keller have similar projections but I don't see the upside with Keller. 95 Stuff+ for MK. 106 Stuff+ for SA.
  7. None of the better ones. TBH part of the appeal of Sandy is that he might not cost an arm and a leg because of the performance so far. They can have Loperfido or Roden + Watts-Brown + Orelvis. Maybe Bloss slides in there somewhere. I am too attached to Yesavage, King, Stephen, Stanifer, Rojas.
  8. Sandy Alcantara shoved today against the Padres. I think he's the guy to target, unless there is some surprise Ace or SP2 like DeGrom to be had. Alcantara has been bad but the stuff is largely still there
  9. And it's not like Barger has the day off if he doesn't start. They pinch hit as soon as the bullpen flips over.
  10. Passan says Shane Bieber is available Interesting analysis. Currently rehabbing. Has a $16M player option with a $4M buyout for 2026. Was actually an Ace once, unlike the fraud Manoah who is on the same rehab timeline.
  11. Not my money. Have to keep in mind that Rogers desperately tried to get other (better) players to take this dough and nobody wanted to play in Canada. Is what it is His at bat with the bases loaded was pathetic. It's wild that almost every player on the team has a better approach or composure than Vlad. Seems like everyone goes up there with a sound idea of what they are able to do and what they should do in most at bats... other than Vlad. And Bo who is a natural hacker.
  12. FWIW (a lot) Gabe Moreno only made the honourable mentions of that list.
  13. Here is a crazy trade to think about again: July 20 2012 J.A. Happ was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays along with Brandon Lyon, and David Carpenter, for Francisco Cordero, Ben Francisco, Asher Wojciechowski, David Rollins, Joe Musgrove, Carlos Pérez, and Kevin Comer. At the time of the trade Happ had a 4.83 ERA and the year prior it was 5.35. Such an aggressive deal. No top prospects in context but obviously Musgrove was coveted and he would go on to be very good and a big part of Houston's Gerrit Cole deal. Toronto might have traded 3 or 4 prospects from their top 20 list for SP4/5 Happ and a reliever.
  14. Little has a 1.94 ERA this year and Judge is like a 2.000 OPS hitter vs Gausman lmao
  15. Little has a 1.94 ERA this year and Judge is like a 2.000 OPS hitter vs Gausman lmao
  16. It will be interesting to see how they handle the rotation as a long term thing. We have seen the Jays invest in durable veteran SP for years now. Ryu, Gausman, Berrios, Kikuchi, Bassitt, Ray. It has been their whole thing. Not many young arms or prospects given opportunities (not that any even existed to force their hand....) Now they have a chance to handle the rotation a bit differently. Bassitt pending FA, Gausman after 2026. But will they? Or will they still target durable SP like Mitch Keller and maybe just leave SP5 slot open for Yesavage et al. Will they trade a bunch of these young arms? Be aggressive on RP conversions with some of them?
  17. Apparently the Jays asked for ONeil Cruz during the trade talks with the Pirates
  18. I don't think I have ever seen a contending team with a more glaring need Peraza is the most pathetic at bat in the sport
  19. And John Schneider People actually complained about the bullpen decisions tonight lmao
  20. Part of this is not letting guys get on second base
  21. He was nailing the bottom corners tonight and ump had a wide zone.
