    what does this mean? he's a negative defender everywhere. i've never heard someone say he was good anywhere. at best he gets described as "versatile" which is a euphemism, i guess

    This is 100% it. Lots of star 1B/DH were mediocre for a couple of years and then learned how to become elite hitters. Even if Vlad does that, it seems impossible for him to be a real superstar given his glaring issues. Some people are mourning the loss of the possibility. It’s stupid, but I think that’s the motivation. Everybody realizes he has the tools to figure it out and the team should give him a rope six years long.

    We can manually edit the matchups. We should I guess. Three ties. Looks like you should beat Org based on total points. (need to swap) L54 should be ahead of Havok based on h2h match (no need to swap) zeros should be ahead of hurl based on h2h match (no need to swap)

    I did run the lottery using the above ^ but won't reveal it unless it seems like everyone is cool with this method.

    This will be the weighting order for the 2021 draft lottery: The 12 non-playoff teams simply have their 2020 and 2019 win percentages combined. 50-50 weighting on each season. The lottery odds will be very flat. I have not decided exactly how to do it, but the teams near the top here should not exactly expect to have a high pick. We are going to draw for every pick too. So, teams near the top could fall back several picks. Playoff teams will just be slotted in the order of their final playoff standings, 2020 win % as a tiebreaker if needed. For the odds, easiest thing to do is just something like, truncate or round at 3 decimal points and give teams a number of balls equal to the difference between 1 and their combined win %. So Spanky would get 602 balls and FTD would get 481

    I believe I selected whole league standings only. Divisions are irrelevant this year. The schedule was just randomized without divisional bias either

    Last day to trade! Or just to reject my trades, I guess. If anyone gets a deal done today but cannot propose it in Fantrax due to roster quirks, I will process it tomorrow (provided you could have validly done it yourself tomorrow). Both owners have to confirm before 1 AM EST, no exceptions at all.

    They are going to suck anyway. If they let him embarrass himself there is a small chance he might just retire early out of shame (he has talked about it) or at least instruct his agent to negotiate a buyout so he can go home and pray.

    Adam Kloffenstein(total) sounds like the upgraded version of Adam Kloffenstein. Like Mecha-Godzilla. Total-Kloff. It makes sense that Kloff's numbers aren't eye-popping. Some seasoned minor league veterans in that league and guys with MLB time.
