  1. Lol, he plays you twice. Are you pooping on yourself bro? And then he gave himself his biggest rival, and a superior team.
  2. Please direct consternation at BTS, who made the schedule. It's not really possible to make a perfectly balanced schedule with our Yahoo setup, especially if you want to play everyone once which we all would agree is important. There are 5 teams in a division and only 2 rivalry weeks. In the voice of Chris D'Elia doing an impression of a drunk girl - you do the math.
  3. They looked bad. I actually find it kind of remarkable that the Jays have let him climb to the big leagues without adding at least a cutter. Who even survives in the big leagues these days with FB-CB-CH, especially when the CH isn't even a great pitch? Off the top, I know AJ Burnett is mostly FB and Knuckle Curves. I think Edinson Volquez is FB-CB-CH. I know Cosart is FB-CB. There are guys like Archer and T.Ross who are basically FB-SL. But FB-CB-CH just doesn't seem like a common modern starter's repertoire. Maybe they were worried about increasing the injury risk too much by adding a CT to his poor mechanics.
  4. Well even if they meet somewhere in the middle it could make sense.
  5. Seriously, Navarro for Cahill + the $ difference. It makes too much sense now that Stroman is down.
  6. Contrarily, when you're probably losing a year of contribution from every pitcher that comes through your system, it's important to milk that extra year from each and every one of them.
  7. You're probably right. Hopefully the probable mishandling doesn't "ruin" him.
  8. Call up someone else, lol.
  9. Sanchez only has 34 AAA innings, and 100.1 innings in AA/AAA. His peripherals were terrible at those levels too. I think it's pretty dumb to just give him a spot on the team because he throws hard and his ERA was shiny in the bullpen last summer. Also, if they keep him down in Buffalo for a couple of months they effectively get another year of control out of him, I think (because his service time will be less than 3.000 years after 2017).
  10. robo-burn! Lrn 2 scrape, noxage.
  11. I don't see how the bullpen helps him become a starter. He'd just throw 90% fastballs, with the odd stupidly gigantic curve. The guy needs to throw more pitches to work on his fastball command, and keep trying to come up with an average third pitch .
  12. Best thing to do is give Estrada a chance, let Sanchez start in Buffalo, and if and when Estrada blows chunks, then you call up Sanchez. Giving him the job out of the gate would be stupid. IMO. He's clearly still got a lot of s*** to work on.
  13. So our two old-school power rankers basically nailed it, I guess.
  14. SPRING 7.2 IP 4 K 2 BB 1 HR 17 groundouts 3 flyouts Stats are meaningless but there they are. At least the GB rate is extreme (needs to be since he can't miss bats).
  15. Bautista is not allowed to get hurt.
  16. Didn't realize that every non-playoff team had a small chance at McDavid. Exciting! I like it.
  17. Wasn't kidding! Dude is desparate.
  18. To the curator of the spreadsheet - I'm getting BTS' 1st waiver in the deal
  19. I did on Yahoo!
  20. wow, 97% me? very ineffective if that's the case
  21. http://www.bigtomatocompany.com/pictures/large/eggcup_badegg_9m10.jpg
  22. + there's the fact that he swung the bat like Yuniesky Betancourt last year. Just a gross player from multiple angles.
