  2. what's the logic behind providing a weighted mean of percentile chance outcomes?
  3. Or they are using PECOTA: http://i.imgur.com/BqbjJsP.png
  4. Apparently the Rays are using slightly outdated Steamer information
  5. Yeah, the trade is largely Pompey for Souza IMO. Souza's ZiPS and Steamer are both pretty pedestrian now actually. I think his Steamer changed. AJ Cole is an unfortunately promoted prospect who had little value to me, marginal trade value, but could have a lot of value for a rebuilder like KK. Span ended up being very good last year but KK will need to find a flip partner.

  10. I believe in MM. Good for you brother. Not gonna suck it though. I'm not that excited for you.
  11. p.s. the same thing will happen to most of your hoard of minor league picks in June, so I would strongly suggest that you get to work cutting down on those assets efficiently before the draft!
  12. Still a decent chance that the contract is a vehicle to try to get him to Buffalo. The lack of an actual opt-out speaks to this. They have a month to convince Viciedo that it's good for his career to go the Buffalo, and Viciedo has a month to convince the team that it's good for them to have him in Toronto.
  13. Where did he say or imply that? (link)
  14. Why can't he start the year in Buffalo?
  15. Think of it as a stock option. If Viciedo's stock (skill) goes up, then, and only then, do you exercise the option.
  16. You had an extra waiver pick through trade. #81 would put you at 26 players. It disappeared at the start of the draft, as we've done before in all drafts.
  17. All of this discussion is rather silly. The fact that he's on a minor league deal shows you what Toronto thinks of him - not much.
  18. The end is in sight: 68 SVG - J.A. 19. I'll dive into the Fur Bush. Should I email jaysblue or not?
  20. 50/50s are the best way to build up your bankroll. I'm at like $170 on Fanduel now after starting the year with $10. I only set lineups a couple of times a week too.

  22. Well, I think the detractors would simply say that they don't think Tank is "good depth". Certainly BTS, the head of the naysayers, would call him bad depth because of his lack of present baseball skill. In order for Viciedo to actually be "good depth" he would probably have to improve as a baseball player. He's been worth -0.1 fWAR in 1800 career PA, so the past and present version of Dayan getting playing time over someone even as mediocre as Pillar or Valencia could get pretty annoying. And I don't think it's even fair to point to his career splits and say that in a platoon DH role he would be "good depth". See below: Viciedo has just under 500 career PA against lefties.
