  1. Bro, the masses have no idea who you are. Lots of work to do.
  2. 2 Weeks Amongst the Rotation?
  3. Nobody is saying they should turn him into glue. It would be nice if they would give him more time to develop into a starter in the minor leagues though... the guy flew through AA and AAA, doesn't even have solid fastball control, and they're asking him to try to learn a slider at the big league level as a starter.
  4. Brady Aiken, 2015 draft eligible, left his game today after 12 pitches, apparently with 'arm tightness'. He turned down $5M from Houston, who became concerned with his elbow after a post-draft physical (initial agreement was for $6.5M). Pretty s***** year to not have a 1st rounder when Brady Aiken is going to possibly plummet with TJS....
  5. Insert line about expectations + Insert BB% vs FIP figure
  6. Welcome to the world, Burch Carrasco Howie z3r0s! Burchette?
  7. There's no cutoff but it's hard to be good with a below average swinging strike %. Here's the bottom 20 (last number is SwStr%). Sanchez' percentage was 6.2% out of the bullpen last year. This is just qualified SP. 8. Awesome! Naming rights for the first DDL baby unfortunately fall to last year's winner - North. Boy or girl?
  9. You see lots of older people with headphones on, listening to the game. I'm sure it lines up fine. This will be me in ~40 years, when Vlad Jr. is on the level of excellence at Rogers SkyDome 3.0 Heart and Hustle edition brought to you by Uber theme song courtesy of Carly Rae Beiber.
  10. Really what you care about is K%-BB%. He can get better at the former, decrease the latter, or both.
  11. So lots of groundballs, only one walk, but no swinging strikeouts...
  12. You can't use dickcheese. I invented dickcheese....
  13. If they both hate it, that means it was a swish.
  14. Average speed with some smarts. Instincts apparently help him on the bases and in the field.
  15. Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize that you had unrealistic, jaysblue type of expectations for your broken Jap.
  16. Ryu and Pollock for Darvish and Hamilton call me Trademaker
  17. Still a few major leaguers and it's filled out by actual prospects. Not a worthless test.
  18. Just a media blurb reported on twitter this morning. He also differentiated Osuna and Castro by saying that "Osuna had been hit a bit harder this spring", and he said they might break with an 8 man pen depending on where Saunders is at. As usual, you hope there's a lot more under the surface. The comments are so superficial and stupid. MAYBE they don't think Castro is anything more than a reliever long term, after having watching him for a couple of years. Maybe...
