  1. I think you probably smell like farts, but I guess everybody likes their own brand.
  2. King is just thanking your posts to give you confidence and egg you on towards a meltdown. It's very transparent. He's a snake.
  3. what happened with jays4life19? *pulls chair up to Spanky's bedside *catches a whiff of Spanky *slowly creeps chair backwards....
  4. Osuna's change is solid. Got silly looking whiffs from both Lough and Snider. Didn't notice any breaking balls. Seems to spot the fastball well too, pitches inside and on the hands consistently. FB might be a bit straight, but at least it has that downhill plane so it's not "flat". I like his tempo too. Definitely looks like a potential #3 to me. I would put his upside into the same bucket as Hutch's.
  5. Yeah, not much I can do about it. GP is locked into Boxy in the one week and you are locked into Dinger in the other, so only so much wiggling can occur. I didn't want to get into messing with matchups for people in any other divisions. At least him playing 2 and 7 isn't nearly as rough as you playing 1 and 2. None of this will probably matter anyway.
  6. It was disproportionately unfair to have you facing them, so I edited the divisional matchups for us to remove it. Now you play Gryffindor and Los Osos. (7 vs 10 and 1) mean difficulty 5.5 Gryffindor plays BALCO and You. (10 vs 7 and 2) mean difficulty 4.5 BALCO plays me and Gryff. (2 vs 6 and 10) mean difficulty 8 I play GeorgiaP and BALCO. (6 vs 17 and 2) mean difficulty 9.5 Georgia P plays me and ByeWeek. (17 vs 5 and 20) mean difficulty 12.5 lower = tougher sched now at least nobody gets absolutely hosed no, I did not try to give myself an easier sched. the differences are small and it was just the easiest way to flip teams around in the two weeks.
  7. You're up against #4 and #9, according to JFaS' power rankings. You're such a huge puss to whine about #4 and #9. Maybe if you improved your own team then it wouldn't seem so intimidating to face a team that is power-ranked outside of the playoffs twice.
  8. It actually might make sense to switch one of your matchups, lol. If you can find a sensible swap I'll do it. Look for someone who plays two s***** teams, maybe.
  9. Toronto is 8th all time in recorded TJS (MLB + MiLB) with 33. But they are closer to last (HOU - 20) than first (TEX - 47) But only 9 of those came at the MLB level, which has them below average. #1 is ATL with 20. Fewest is 6 (SF + CHW). https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gQujXQQGOVNaiuwSN680Hq-FDVsCwvN-3AazykOBON0/htmlview?sle=true#
  10. typical. I think there was a recent article that tracked TJS by team... hmmm. Of course, you can't blame Toronto at all for Hoffman or Drabek's 1st.
  11. but you and jaysblue are sworn enemies
  12. Sweet, I missed Osuna's inning.
  13. Guys, I think this is going to be our best season ever. Just a feeling. The rivalries are so entrenched. Every team has an identity. The grudges are serious. The stakes are low as f***.
  14. Lol, he plays you twice. Are you pooping on yourself bro? And then he gave himself his biggest rival, and a superior team.
  15. Please direct consternation at BTS, who made the schedule. It's not really possible to make a perfectly balanced schedule with our Yahoo setup, especially if you want to play everyone once which we all would agree is important. There are 5 teams in a division and only 2 rivalry weeks. In the voice of Chris D'Elia doing an impression of a drunk girl - you do the math.
  16. They looked bad. I actually find it kind of remarkable that the Jays have let him climb to the big leagues without adding at least a cutter. Who even survives in the big leagues these days with FB-CB-CH, especially when the CH isn't even a great pitch? Off the top, I know AJ Burnett is mostly FB and Knuckle Curves. I think Edinson Volquez is FB-CB-CH. I know Cosart is FB-CB. There are guys like Archer and T.Ross who are basically FB-SL. But FB-CB-CH just doesn't seem like a common modern starter's repertoire. Maybe they were worried about increasing the injury risk too much by adding a CT to his poor mechanics.
  17. Well even if they meet somewhere in the middle it could make sense.
  18. Seriously, Navarro for Cahill + the $ difference. It makes too much sense now that Stroman is down.
  19. Contrarily, when you're probably losing a year of contribution from every pitcher that comes through your system, it's important to milk that extra year from each and every one of them.
  20. You're probably right. Hopefully the probable mishandling doesn't "ruin" him.
  21. Call up someone else, lol.
