Not to mention, Boxberger has a wicked changeup and probably has reverse splits. small sample size but career against Boxberger: RHB .314 wOBA LHB .248 wOBA Honestly there's no excuse for letting Goins hit in that situation. Just an ignorant manager and, more importantly, an ignorant team that doesn't care about the small things. -

Russell Martin is -25. Being under 0 is the same as being over 200. Not sure why someone decided with these + and - stats that 100 should be league average. Why not zero? It would seem to make more sense and be more intuitive if a person with a -20 wRC+ was 20% below league average.
