  1. Thanks Einstein, but Goins is far from a guarantee to put the ball in play. High risk and it should have been a DP for the Angels.
  2. Gibby is a f***ing idiot for putting on the hit and run with Valencia running and Goins hitting, regardless if it was a full count. Not a good hit and run combo, they got lucky.
  3. The Jeff Hoffman jinx thread.
  4. Maybe that's the point. Taxation filtration plant.
  5. For Donaldson? Not doing it. Bautista can get you a young SP and a solid positional player in return before the ASB this year, easily.
  6. How can you even fathom trading a player with JD's value who us under team control through the 2019 season? You obviously trade Bautista or EE for pitching. The Jays will most likely not be able to afford Bautista after 2016,so may as well get something back while you can. If he returns to the outfield soon, I say trade him by the ASB for a haul.
  7. Bautista will test free agency after the 2016 season, guaranteed. You can't trade both Bautista and EE, way too big a hole created. I would prefer to trade EE, but Bautista is probably the player most GMs will want. If Bautista's shoulder requires surgery to repair, AA will have to wait until the off season to trade him, but we'll get less in return for one season of Bautista versus a season and a half if he's healthy before the ASB.
  8. Chill Libtard..
  9. Maxing out the approved salary increase in one off season was really f***ing stupid, now AA'S hands are tied.
  10. First off, i'm not f***ing content with the team's current make up. Secondly, what do you expect him to say about his players? That they are just bridges until we acquire a solid long term option? The whole front office is a cluster f***. AA has his strengths and weaknesses, not acknowledging the need for one or two dependable arms was a mistake. Also don't believe everything you read regarding the complete autonomy.
  11. I can't say anything else except AA wasn't interested in trading any of his "blue chip keepers" at that time. The Miami trade he was in on, NYM deal was all Beeston. AA's arms were tied given the fact that Beeston just got AA the team salary increase approval. AA had no choice but to bend over on that one.
  12. Guys, the Dickey trade was all Beeston. Trust me on this one.
  13. HJM and Pillar both stink. Pillar better defensively, slightly.
  14. I say give them two more starts and if things continue as is, call up Norris and put Sanchez in the pen. DFA Francis.
  15. Collobello is a smart hitter, jumped on that get me over first pitch fastball and hit it hard.
  16. A little luck sure, but he's been hitting a ton line drives.
