BTW, when you're a fence player, KNOWING that your playing time won't be dictated by your on the field performance, actually adds a level of comfort and confidence,which in turn should increase your production. If you have ever played in an organized competitive league, then you'll know where i'm coming from. In this case it's even more exaggerated because of the financial implications ($50k - $500k).

Bi polar much? If Ryan Goins new that he'd be playing every day no matter what for a full season, he'd put up a 1.5 WAR or better guaranteed.

So lets throw a punk kid who has made all of six starts in the MLB under the bus because he's kept his club in ball games (with some luck obviously). He's possesses the raw tools to be an effective pitcher in the bigs. How about all you pessimistic idiots watch,cheer for and enjoy the maturation process from this kid. It's really hard to believe you guys are legit Jays fans, and some are obviously not.

Lol, what a stupid post. First of all, not many others have the balls to put themselves out there by making bold statements on dark horses. All i have ever said is that there is something in Goins' swing and approach if tweeked the right way by the right people, can transform him into an every day MLB player. As of now, i have no doubt he possess the skill set to be on a 25 man MLB roster somewhere, probably for the next 8-10 years, as i believe he will actually get better as he matures. TBH, the only other poster who that i know of whose personal liking of a mid range prospect that is having success is Boxcar with Marisnick.

Not that I give a s***, but I did say Romero would regress quickly during his prime years. That was from the old board and there is no way I can find the posts, but they're there. Also I posted some Pompey AB video around this time last year and said he'd make the MLB guaranteed with success with that approach, but I honestly didn't think he'd crack the 25 man this year, more of a September look and make the team in 2016.
