Oh c'mon.. While I agree that analytics should not be perceived as an absolute, but as a guideline, there are many personalities on this board that use the analytic tool as a slam dunk analysis. This is what is creating the intense debating. Some people feel they can see by watching the body work of a player that he can improve on his MiLB or early MLB numbers, while others use these numbers as a CONCRETE GUIDELINE.
Look how long the "Can Ryan Goins stick" thread went on for. I'll have to admit though that the majority of the time the numbers usually play out,but as an overwhelming majority.
