Not really tbh. He may be seeing the ball a bit better, but he still has no plan and a bad approach. In his first AB, he passed on a 3-1 cookie for some reason. He's been doing this type of s*** all year. I think JD will shake him up.
The question is, will this regime wait for the second half Dickey to hopefully show up while hurting the team, or just move him to the NL before he becomes immovable.
Let's hope Dickey is just having a typical slow start to the season. If he's still struggling at the end of June, you have to try and move him for something. Insert Floyd to the rotation.
So I see Gibby won't allow Colabello or Smoak any consistent AB's, really difficult to get something going like this. I thought Smoak had several good AB's yesterday to warrant him another start tonight. He must be frustrated as f***.
Gibby is the biggest f***ing loser idiot I've ever seen. No time called and the pitcher just stops in his delivery. How was Gibbons or any other coach not all over that?
EE struck himself out really. On a 3-0 count, regardless if you're taking all the way, you always have to stay in your stance and appear to be interested, otherwise anything close is an automatic strike.
