    EE's shot didn't carry as well imo because the ball didn't have much rotation off the bat, almost knuckling. Davis' HR had backspin, thus the carry on the ball.

    Ha.. If you were around and old enough to experience the World Series years , I'll guarantee that your sentiment would be different. Actually, the whole f***ing decade from 1983 - 1993 was incredible. I'm hoping it can be duplicated obviously, but you should never criticize something as incredible as that ten year stint if you don't know first hand on how it felt. I guess you based your judgement on the "video eye test factor" to come up with your opinion. Just because some of us here are a bit older, that doesn't make it right for anyone to ridicule what we experienced. I had no clue that Devo was Travis' twitter handle and clubhouse nickname.
