  1. That could be said about almost every starter in the MLB. Fact is that he's a kid going up against a solid offence and his mistakes should get pounded. The rest of the league doesn't seem to have any major issues with him so far, so no reason we shouldn't get ours. I think Estrada will keep their young offence in check with his ability to change speeds effectively. The fact that most of their line up has never faced Estrada and his plus change is a major plus.
  2. 1. Carrera (RF) 2. Travis (2B) 3. Donaldson (3B) 4. Encarnacion (1B) 5. Saunders (LF) 6. Tulowitski (SS) 7. Martin © 8. Pillar (CF) 9. Estrada (P) GDT record 3-0. We need a win and go on a run into the ASB. Looking for our offence to explode and pound on the weak Rockies' staff while pitching well enough to keep their offence honest. It will be important to keep pounding on their staff regardless of the score and not let up, as no lead is safe against their offence, especially while playing at Coors Field. Let's do this.
  3. Stroman threw it two feet on the first base side, Martin had no chance. A good throw gets him.
  4. True, that's why with less than two strikes you have to be looking for a certain pitch. I would be looking for a fastball outer half until two strikes, and going the other way with it, or trying to.
  5. You guys are being ignorant trolls. I'm referring to the approach, not the results. I know it's not easy and Sale is good. Jesus..
  6. What does this have to do with him being thrown out at home yesterday?
  7. So explain why it's JD's fault for yesterday's play at the plate.
  8. Martin pulling an outside pitch. I f***ing don't understand these RHH. Doesn't anybody on our staff, players and coaches, know that Sale will pound the outer half vs RHH? I can't comprehend the ignorance.
  9. EE is back to being pull happy after yesterday's nice approach. Does he actually think he'll get anything inner half vs Sale? LMAO.
  10. I was just going to say this type of GDT is a recipe for disaster, just like the Wild E. Coyote GDT.
  11. You're actually blaming JD for being thrown out at the plate yesterday?
  12. I think he's officially on Shapiro's watch list, although in the early stages. If he struggles again today, then he'll probably have two or three more starts max to turn things around before being sent down.
  13. He can't teach because he didn't know how he was doing it when he was doing it. Pure natural born talent, they make the worst coaches.
  14. Call overturned, two out. Gosselin pops up to Martin in foul territory on a bunt attempt. Game over. 5-2 Jays.
  15. Segura reaches on a slow chopper to second, although he looks out. Replay..
  16. Bourn grounds out 4-3 on a nice play from Travis. One out.
