    If he shortened up with two strikes and just thought contact gap to gap, he would have laid off that 0-2 slider easily.

    I already know he's one of the best hitters in baseball. His K rate is 20% so far this year, so yeah he can be better. Many premier sluggers shorten up with two strikes and especially with a runner on third with less than two out (Ortiz,Miggy,Trout, just to name a few). EE makes no adjustment in these situations, but the frustrating part is that he can do it if he really wanted to.

    Saunders is only good for DHing and some spot starts. He's horrible defensively.
