It will be interesting to see if Ceciliani will start against RHP. The question is will Ceciliani be able to patrol CF adequately, because we all Upton is the better defender. Maybe start Ceciliani and use Upton late in the game, but take out Saunders and put Ceciliani in LF. -
Was it KLaw who also said that Travis was a non prospect?

I just don't take any assumptions as an absolute. My assumption would be is that Gibby is giving Martin the day off because he caught a night game followed by a day game, period. It was his strategy from the start of the season and he's sticking to it, regardless of other outlining factors that could reasonably alter this.

So because Martin's initial reaction to getting spiked by hopping around on one foot is an absolute indication that he requires a day off? Have you ever played baseball? I used to get spiked all the time, and yeah it hurts like f*** initially, i was usually fine the next day. You f***ing nerds need to stick to the analytical side of things and stop making physical assumptions when you have no clue.

LOL.. I'll guarantee you that i'm in better physical condition than you have or ever will be in, just to be clear. How am i wrong about Goins? From the time i said he'd stick (over two tears ago), he stuck long enough to prove me right. There were already apologetic posts regarding this, so wake up. Regarding the bet with Spanky, Goins has to have at least 250PA, so sorry to burst your bubble. If i lose, i'll pay him like a man and not think twice about it again. Having a Barry Davis avatar is beyond embarrassing.

First off, nobody questioned Pillar's day off, so exaggerating makes you come off like a douche, so load your brain by actually reading posts correctly. Secondly, you have no f***ing clue that that play at the plate has anything to due with anything. Quietly f*** off.

The way Martin feels today should be the only factor. To compound Gibby's decision even further, there's an off day this Thursday.

It's put up or go home time. The fact that Martin would still have a full 48 hours off in between his next start makes today's decision skeptical.

Listen f*** wad.. I know Gibby knows Martin is better than Thole you f***ing ass wipe, but the fact Martin is going to be off tomorrow also just made it a little suspicious is all. I know yesterday's game was a night game, but the fact of the matter is that Martin has been given a lot of time off so far and were in the middle of a playoff run. Pillar on the other hand is a different story, he's played a ton. Martin probably wouldn't have had a problem playing today, so stop trying to justify the moronic moves Gibby makes. It's grind it out time.. Your avatar explains a lot.
