  1. I'm just looking at in a sense where Upton would provide excellent speed and base running for the big boys, but yeah i see your points.
  2. Travis should be batting sixth and Upton ninth, but you know..
  3. What? It doesn't matter because barring a WS win, Gibby is probably gone after this season.
  4. That's why he used Grilli and Osuna today. He feels comfortable having Benoit as back up if need be it tomorrow. Gibby is a true clown.
  5. I don't think there is another manager currently employed that would have used their ace reliever in a game like this vs the Twins with a huge divisional series coming up the next day.
  6. So did the rest of the universe.
  7. Travis' hands are bricks.
  8. Gibby is just f***ing horrible. Osuna should have waited a bit before ramping it up.
  9. I'll laugh if Osuna comes in.
  10. You got to be careful with him, he's 39 and our second best pen arm. He threw 16 pitches Thursday, 23 yesterday and another 19 today. Mix in the pitches thrown in the pen and that's a lot of work for him. Ideally, he shouldn't see the mound until Wednesday.
  11. Hopefully he'll DH only but don't count out Gibby using Smoak instead.
  12. I would have not got Grilli hot until the last out. Have him warm until then and then ramp him up with his eight warm up pitches. Could have maybe used Benoit here and save Grilli for the O's series.
  13. Yup.. Saunders going to be sucking some bench.
  14. Hopefully he isn't hot yet, we might put up a few more.
  15. Don't be surprised if Gibby uses Benoit in the eighth with Grilli pitching in two of the last three days.
  16. Yup.. JD in the zone spells a lot of trouble for the Red Sox and the Orioles.
  17. Cecil LOL Gibby, even bigger LOL.
  18. All the fielding infielder needs to do now is make a solid accurate throw to second and the rest will mostly take care of itself. That extra intangible of avoiding the slide while throwing has been removed.
  19. Probably by a lot. The relay throws to first have increased in velocity by a large margin.
  20. JD says sorry for derp earlier, here's the run back.
  21. JD's f*** up costs us a run.
