    It's really weird on how Ross feels comfortable making these types of decisions in his eighth season and no play off wins. The Shatkins relationship feels like there's more than just a business aspect to it. Rogers must let Shapiro do his thing, as long as revs keep rolling in. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Ross is back next season, even if we miss the playoffs.

The Leafs got rid of their disaster nerd GM and already the team looks so much better with the recent additions. Ross is no different, but your lack of general awareness is not suprising.

    Hate to say it but.. Actually I'd give him a bit more rope to start the season (6-8 weeks). Still need to sign a bat for left field.

    With a bunch of doubles also. I'd like to see us sign a left fielder with power and have Horowitz assume Belt's role starting next season. Varsho should only be starting roughly 30% of the time while also providing speed and defence as a replacement late in games. I just hope Ross isn't still around when these decisions are made. We don't need another one year vet signing for over $10M when there are in house options that can provide pretty much the same.

    Yeah.. I'm sick and tired of these fat f***s that aren't taking their careers seriously. They have every mechanism available at their feet to maintain a healthy lifestyle and act like professionals. The three of them showing up to camp in that condition is inexcusable. If they were in the NFL, there's a good chance they'd be cut.

    In all fairness, Manoah served up a lot of fatties vs the Tigers that normally wouldn't fair well with a competent line up.

    If only Ross wasn't so f***ing stubborn in continuously trying to save face for "his guys", the team would be a lot better off. There are numerous examples over the years that I'm not going to dig into. Nothing personal against the man, but he's just not fit to be a successful GM. Let's see what he does at the trade deadline.
