    I wouldn't put it past Ross to extend all the injured players on longer IL stints if we keep losing and lose realistic sight of the final WC spot. It's probably the only shot he has in getting one more year.

    Springer was late and whiffed on a centre cut 90mph straight as an arrow fastball. Good thing he's batting clean up.

    No Horwitz last night for some stupid f***ing reason and today Springer is batting clean up. I guess Schneider liked the hard hit DP ball Springer hit to end the game last night. This is getting beyond ridiculous, even for this team.

    Are Horwitz and Barger injured? Springer and Turner are not going to get it done, against a decent RHP to boot. This organization is sad but on the bright side, more losing = Ross is gone sooner (hopefully).

    Springer looks like he has officially transitioned into a fourth outfielder. His defence is still good but $25M annually for the next few seasons is tough. Ross needs to come to grips with it and do something about it. He just naturally declined with age, he had a good career.

    Shapiro the con man.. Shapiro does have a way with big corporate and that's an actual useful talent for a president to have. Only problem is that his roster construction skills are s***, as is his Boy Wonder. We would be so much better off if Shapiro hires a real GM and give him full autonomy, the type of GM that would hire a real manager and give him the same respect.

    Yeah, with a $240M payroll. A monkey as our GM could average 88 wins with that payroll. Ross is not a good GM. It's not that hard to comprehend.

    If we're 8-12 games under 500 at the end of June, the buzz will be light. We got the second toughest schedule in the league for the next month, so it's entirely possible.
