Yeah i hear you. What bothers me is that Shapiro may feel compelled to start the year with him on the 25 man, since he decided to settle on a MLB $1.9 million contract. Shapiro seems a bit too proud, which scares the s*** out of me when it comes to Morales.

Looks like they'll go with the five outfielders (Granderson/Pearce platoon in LF, Pillar and Teoscar) with Zeke on the bench. His defence is suspect, but you can't deny his 123 wRC+ vs RHP. Nice bat to have on the bench that doesn't seem to go stale from limited playing time.

I don't think management has succumbed to Teoscar being a platoon player just yet. He'll either be our starting right fielder to start the year or start the year in Buffalo.

As of right now, he's Pearce's platoon partner in LF. Decent move as Granderson is still a plus defender.

A max four year extension starting next year should be the most management should offer. The offer could be sprinkled a bit to 4/128 and see what happens.

Did i just see Morales take a 3-2 fastball literally right down the middle? You're not supposed to be guessing with two strikes Kendrys. This all or nothing approach that seems to be coming more of a norm in baseball is sickening.

Yeah but Gibby also has a responsibility to play contending teams to win, not experiment. Gibby fully realizes this, he's just dumb.

Why would Gibby waste a solid defender in Hernandez to pinch hit for Lopez who is nowhere near offensively polished yet in a tight game? Where the f*** is Pearce? Heck, he should have just let Maile PH for Lopez and then assume the position. Hernandez currently has more value in his legs and defence opposed to his bat as a non starter in a tight game. Gibby is just plain dumb as f***.

Yeah but dealing from an apparent area of strength in order to fill needs elsewhere with young, athletic controllable talent is a conversation that needs to take place. BTW, it's the only way that type of talent can be obtained.
