Agreed but Biggio can't play CF. Teoscar or McKinney need to be sent down and Brito needs to be crowned the DFA champ again. Call up Biggio and Jonathan Davis. Stick Grichuk in RF where he belongs with Davis in CF. Biggio in the utility role.

Talking up a two time DFA champ is just setting yourself up for an embarrassment. Sign him and take your shot, just stfu about it. It seems Ross has a hard time controlling what comes out of his mouth.

I actually don't blame Ross for taking a shot with Brito. It's the "major upside" ******** talk to go along with the fact that he's still here.Give Jonathan Davis the AB's instead ffs.

Cron in his first AB was looking slider/curve the whole AB, then pretty much figured he'd get a first pitch fastball in his second AB and jumped on it. These are the types of in game adjustments and smart assumptions that is needed in the MLB. These are the valuable lessons that are taught from the batting and bench coaches. If your are in the bigs, you don't have to be taught how to hit.

That 1-1 swing from Grichuk was definitely not part of any plan unless the guy is completely brain dead. How do you extend a player who has such horrible pitch recognition?

Yep, this why locating is so important. I wish the majority of our hitters went up with a similar plan, or any plan.
