  1. Galvis had the right approach there.
  2. Meh, if you know you're going to be able to turn two without allowing a run to score by going home to first, I think you have to just take it. Nice effort though regardless.
  3. Yeah but it's only chump change, ask Spanky.
  4. Atkins is the GM. He needs to be assertive and tell Montoya how he wants his future stars handled.
  5. It's called an observation and I'm not happy with management. Is that ok?
  6. Do you always whine?
  7. Rest day again for Biggio? Oh wait, we're facing a AAA LHP today. Atkins is not handling Biggio's early development very well. He sits vs Cashner but then starts against Rodriguez and Sale back to back. Way too much incompetence and lack of awareness in upper management.
  8. I'd rather put my money on Shapiro than Ross Atkins in any capacity.
  9. I don't think I'd categorize trading valuable assets like Stroman and Giles for the betterment of the rebuild as a day to day task.
  10. As long as Shapiro does all the talking.
  11. I was wondering why this thread would consist of nearly 100 posts until I read through it. Wow..
  12. He's turning 23 in September so if his results are there, he'll move pretty quick.
  13. I'm honestly hoping Drury pans out to be a solid part of a platoon.
  14. Holy s***, the warning tracks in foul territory got destroyed.
  15. The game will most likely resume soon. These storm cells are fast moving.
  16. It's obviously way too early to give up on him, he's got decent stuff. I think his delivery needs tweeking.
  17. Hey, Vladdy cleared his hips well on that base hit. Positive sign.
  18. Pearson alone is not going to move the needle drastically. He's probably going to go through his own learning curve struggles in his first year or so.
  19. Two things have to happen.. He hast to drop 20 lbs and his footwork needs to dramatically improve to stick at third. I can see him losing the weight but his footwork is what it is with an upside of marginal improvement. You can tell by the way he walks and runs it is what it is. Fortunately, his bat will certainly live up to the hype once he figures it out and it will play at first base or DH.
  20. Vladdy has two cinder blocks for feet. Sloppy and heavy.
  21. How can you be consistent with that delivery?
