    McGuire unloaded a seed to second, too bad Bo couldn't hang on. McGuire is solid.

    We need a steady outfielder thrown into the mix next season. Shed the likes of Fisher, McKinney and send Teo to Buffalo as depth. I wouldn't mind throwing a 3/24 at Nick Castellanos and see what happens. He's been reliable health wise and will give you a competitive at bat every time and we'd have him through ages 28-30. Play him in RF with Grichuk in CF and Gurriel in LF. Have a good defensive outfielder like Davis or Alford on the bench to come in and play CF in tight games and move Grichuk to RF. There's no reason not to field a half decent team next year with the payroll flexibility we'll have.

    Nice to hear that Biggio is going to work on levelling out his swing a little bit in the off season. A large chunk of his athleticism goes to waste with his current swing path.

    I think Davis has an actual shot at cracking the 25 man next season.

    Looks like Alford has fallen out of management's interest regarding next year's roster. Davis and Fisher get the starts tonight again. Well, at least they're giving Davis a look, who imo would provide more value than McKinney or Fisher. Davis could possibly be a viable fourth outfielder behind Gurriel, Grichuk and a free agent signing next year.

    Shapiro needs to be addressed by ownership that if he wants to stay, the next GM has to be given full reigns. I don't see Atkins sticking beyond next year.
