  1. Stripling looks so much more poised with the tinkered delivery. Nice pick Rowdy.
  2. Why did Vladdy play defensively in the bottom of the sixth if he was going to be pinch hit for? You'd figure the only reason he was still in the game was because he was due to bat second in the top of the seventh. Charlie is seriously playing some 4D chess.
  3. I think once we're through 7 innings, Chuckles will start making substitutions (hopefully).
  4. Vladdy and Bo are obvious choices, but can wait a bit. If Semien is still performing well by the All Star break, I would consider tossing a 3/60 at him and see what happens.
  5. Yeah it's hard to say. Pearson does need to get to a point where 80 pitches needs to carry him through 5 quality innings as a basis point. There is probably some confidence issues in the MLB which seems to be apparent. Apparently he's tinkering with his delivery, so his next several outings will tell us something. I think he'll be fine, as he just needs consinstent work without injury. Young pitchers really need to have a successful outing in the bigs before they can really take off. When Manoah got through the first inning alone, you could tell his trajectory was going to go straight up. Pitching six scoreless innings in New York is going to do wonders for this already confident kid. Pearson will get there.
  6. This sounds insane given the fact that players are usually at the park at least three hours before the game.
  7. Weather update in Cleveland is now showing there could be a window of opportunity in getting Friday night's game in between the hours of 8-11pm EST. Field conditions have to be considered as it's going to pour all day. Game time temperatures will be around 7C, ugly conditions.Rain will continue into Saturday but looks like it will break by 6-7pm, so Saturday's game could be delayed also.
  8. Moreno and Lopez keep hitting. Pearson gave up 4 ER in 3 innings on 4 hits 2 BB 7 K. 71 pitches, 40 for strikes. Command issues continue. I heard he's tinkering with his delivery, so this could be a lengthier process than originally anticipated. Hopefully he figures it out and starts having consinstent deeper type starts, although he didn't actually start tonight. I hope he does well and not turn into Aaron Sanchez.
  9. Doesn't look good that there will be a game tomorrow night. Weather in Cleveland looking ugly tomorrow.
  10. We've been waiting desperately for tonight's game and it's postponed due to rain, figures. I guess a nice juicy double header tomorrow with Manoah starting the first game at 4:05 EST isn't that bad.
  11. Stop acting like a little groupie kid that desperately wants to be accepted by the popular kids. You sound like you're 12 years old. A lot of people don't even watch whole games, they just open up spread sheets to obtain their knowledge.
  12. Say what you will but Jansen cost Romano that low strike by stabbing down at it before bringing the glove back up, way too much movement. You all can suck Jansen's cock all you want, but he's still s*** all around except for blocking. If he's in the top 30% at framing, then the art of framing has declined throughout the league. He's been the primary catcher since the beginning of 2019. He's played 218 man games in his career and is sporting a .198 BA wirh a OBP of .285 to go with his .636 OPS. He's not some seasoned defensive guru that warrants starting 75% of the time. He's a decent back up catcher and that's it. McGuire should be getting more starts versus RHP, he can handle any of our starters just as well.
