  1. Holy f***, Pearson on the 7 day IL due to an apparent groin injury. WTF with this glass kid.
  2. He talked about it an interview. I think it was one of those pre game documentaries. Nobody here recalls this? I think his wife was talking about it also in the same interview.
  3. You guys keep forgetting that Montoya is a ticking time bomb. He had serious anger and aggression issues when he was a bit younger. He's been in long term rehab and is most likely medicated to help control it. If the old Charlie comes out, he'll probably lose his job sooner rather than later. I'd pay big money to see the old Charlie come out and go off on an umpire.
  4. Why no Otto Lopez love? That kid can flat out rake.
  5. He's probably back Tuesday. It might be best to bat Springer fifth for a week or so until he gets his timing back.
  6. Reese McGuire has quietly put together a .760 OPS
  7. How we all feeling for this bottom of the ninth?
  8. What's with these calls? MLB has to look into this.
  9. Although this Biggio at bat worked out, you want to be more aggressive with a 2-0 hittable fastball that he took for a strike. The fact that he's more interested in getting on base and working the count (which is fine) rather than doing damage, is memorizing that Montoya doesn't see it.
  10. Holy s*** a double and a HR in his first two ABs. This kid is a machine. Interesting that he's playing third base today.
  11. Yeah, I'd rather bat Biggio where he's more comfortable. Unfortunately on this team, that's ninth.
  12. Ok Bo, shorten up your swing and drive this run in.
  13. McGuire hitting better with more playing time. Who would have thought?
  14. Gurriel is a lot better than his numbers indicate this year. Gurriel's talents are more suited for run producing situations where Biggio is obviously more comfortable as a table setter.
  15. I'm thinking more and more that Shapiro wants a "yes sir" type manager rather than someone who stands on their own two feet. If true, it's a serious problem. Just like he prefers a yes sir GM.
  16. He has to make the team as the primary catcher next year, or at least in May sometime.
