    You guys keep forgetting that Montoya is a ticking time bomb. He had serious anger and aggression issues when he was a bit younger. He's been in long term rehab and is most likely medicated to help control it. If the old Charlie comes out, he'll probably lose his job sooner rather than later. I'd pay big money to see the old Charlie come out and go off on an umpire.

    Although this Biggio at bat worked out, you want to be more aggressive with a 2-0 hittable fastball that he took for a strike. The fact that he's more interested in getting on base and working the count (which is fine) rather than doing damage, is memorizing that Montoya doesn't see it.

    Gurriel is a lot better than his numbers indicate this year. Gurriel's talents are more suited for run producing situations where Biggio is obviously more comfortable as a table setter.

    I'm thinking more and more that Shapiro wants a "yes sir" type manager rather than someone who stands on their own two feet. If true, it's a serious problem. Just like he prefers a yes sir GM.
