Well they should hire someone. Never seen so many cringe worthy slides as this team has. -
I do like Morris there though, no matter who is calling the game. Pulls no punches, and has some interesting comments on the pitchers.

I would think it should depend on how he reacted when he got in the locker room, out of sight of cameras. If he was apologetic, then you have to hope he is learning something from these things. If not, then this is a symptom of a problem that is not going to go away.

Discussing the Lawrie situation on XM today. Kennedy would have sent him down last night, and wouldn't bring him back for awhile. Says the team is losing with him, so what difference would it make. Stern, thinks he needs someone to sit down with him, but too talented to give up on. I don't know which article Kennedy was referring to, but apparently Lawrie's sister has got into it with her opinion on the umpires. I guess there was quite a bit posted on twitter. FWIW

Exactly!! During the game, some fan close to the field screamed something at Escobar. Not exactly sure what was said, but he stopped walking and stared the guy down. So that probably precipitated his reaction. Except for the eyeblack incident, Escobar played well for the Jays. Could he have done more? Maybe, but to me there was no need for that treatment yesterday.

Have "HAD" success. Previous success means nothing. Eg. Romero. Pedroia's numbers are heading down. Napoli will not make it through the entire season without a stay on the DL. Ortiz same thing. I thought that Boston would end up either 4/5, and even their fast start hasn't changed my mind.
