Yeah I doubt we make an actual push for Price, but i'd like to add 1 or 2 arms to the rotation still. Zimmerman, Iwakuma, Kazmir, Shark, Anderson... There are alot of options.
I'm one of the biggest Gibbons defenders.
How many homers has Osuna given up in the last 2 weeks? And how many times has Osuna come into a games with runners on base? Think about those 2 questions and then understand why I am angry and Gibby. Not to mention he wasted another pitcher when Cecil was doing fine.
Osuna is the closer, but he's not our best pitcher and he has been shaky lately. Bringing him in with guys on base was a bad idea and could have severely backfired. Osuna is alot more likely to give up a homerun than Cecil. There was no reason to take Cecil out, he was pitching fine.
Lol I would love to have Heyward but I just don't see it. Front office is gonna go hard after pitching this offseason. This team can do without Heyward.
I'd like to see an outfield of Revere-Pillar-Saunders next year, with Pompey as the 4th guy. Bautista can get starts at both 1B and RF next year. We need to start transitioning him to 1B if we plan on re-signing him.
Revere
JD
Bautista
Edwin
Tulo
Martin
Saunders
Travis
Pillar
FAP
For sure. Tulo definitely wants to play in the postseason. I'm just worried about him being s*** if he's still hurting. I saw some video of him fielding and talking to the coach, and he looks like he still can't raise his glove arm above his head. How many catches/plays will he not make because of this? I just hope that if he does come back, that he is actually capable of playing SS still.
That's what I meant. I'm gonna make money off the games I don't go to, to cover the cost of the games I do go to. I just want to break even. $3600 is way too much for me to be on the hook for haha
I personally don't give a s*** about making any money off my Playoff tix. I bought 2 full post season strips. I'm planning on going to 1 game per series, and selling the rest. All I want to do is break even, and I'm fairly confident I will.
Martin has a 112 wRC+ for the season, which is pretty good. He did have an ABYSMAL August (38 wRC+) but he has bounced back nicely this month and is sporting a 118 wRC+ for September.
Now this is pretty far off his 141 wRC+ of last year, but I don't think many people here expected him to hit that well again this year.
Martin has been great this year, although he was pretty banged up in August and it definitely showed.
