  1. Yankees fans have one of the largest fanbases in the sport and we trolled the s*** out of them when we beat them. Dodgers fans are also lame. Easy to understand.
  2. Just saw a podcast vid with Pierzynski and Max Muncy, Max says IKF’s lead was fine. He also talked about how him and Will Smith discussed (during the pitching change) a possible back pick on IKF there if he got too far off the bag. So boom I was right about the possibility of a back pick. It was probably in the scouting report and factored in to IKF’s leadoff
  3. The Yankees were also hot as hell, Jays were cool down the stretch but not afwul. They found a new gear in the playoffs, a big part of that was Vlad putting the team on his back.
  4. I have 0 interest in Grisham, he’s basically Varsho with a worse glove. Main targets should be Bo/Tucker/Bellinger IMO. You gotta try hard to sign one of those guys.
  5. Tbh I feel like a lefty might be necessary. Need to be able to show opponents a different look in a short series. Our rotation had way too many crafty/stuff righties, all so similar.
  6. Hey you never know, maybe one of Bieber/Gausman has a bad year, maybe Yesavage takes a step back, maybe FA signing craps the bed. Keeping my expectations low after learning my lesson last weekend.
  7. I was saying the same lol
  8. I think with Bieber back now you don’t bother with Bassitt unless you can punt Berrios somewhere. 1. Gauman 2. FA like Cease 3. Yesavage 4. Bieber 5. Berrios/Bassitt Honestly very solid
  9. Wow that’s shocking!! And welcome. That really helps solidify the rotation for next year. Seems players might be worried about the looming lockout affecting long-term deals this offseason??
  10. Yes, he needs to stay. He can be platooned and provides backup for all 3 INF spots. Useful player even if the bat regresses
  11. If that pitch is like 1 or 2 inches further in, we’re probably celebrating a game 7 walkoff homerun. Tough
  12. Nah I love that Yankees bit and would’ve been content if the season ended in the ALCS. I just hate the way we got SO close and lost
  13. Seriously some of these guys are reaallly showing their lack of ball knowledge. Just because Vlad takes a walk there does not mean all subsequent events happen the same. I want my best hitter crushing a 3-0 pitch if he likes it
  14. Ah yes, we’d rather have our best hitter take a walk so IKF can get a chance to hit, rather than smash a 3-0 pitch (which he almost hit out to win the game) Are some of yall really this stupid? EDIT: Bo was still in the game at that point, not IKF. But it still stands, i’d want Vlad to swing if he likes the pitch. He was extremely close to ending the game. Bo is liable to be doubled up
  15. Springer isn’t playing OF anymore anyways. Tucker or Belly would be an everyday OF to set and forget. A full year of Santander will be a big boost to the lineup you’d think. And having Tucker/Vlad/Sant to anchor the lineup would great with all the supplemental pieces we already have.
  16. Forgot he existed lol
  17. If we don’t sign Bo, move Barger to 3B and go after Tucker/Bellinger is the obvious play. Or Kwan or someone via trade.
  18. They also lost in 2014 to a dominant starting pitcher in Madbum. Very similar to this 2025 series including leaving the tying run on 3rd in the final inning.
  19. You’re discounting the bad case line drive back to the pitcher. Unfortunately, Jays got scared of lining into a DP after the Barger gaffe and Gimenez’ liner to Muncy in the 8th
  20. 2 outs is better than 1 out what??? Are you restarted? After getting thrown out at home they still had another shot with the bases loaded.
  21. I hope not, or else IKF might be getting a QO lol
  22. Opens himself up to a DP on a liner back to the pitcher or to 2B though. I get what they were doing here.
  23. Here’s a better, less damning angle of the IKF leadoff. He’s actually the same distance as Muncy.
