  1. Do we really want to tie up 75 million a year for the next 5 years on 3 guys over the age of 30? (Springer, Ray, Semien) And that’s not including Ryu and his 20 million for the next 2 seasons. 95 million on Ray, Ryu, Semien, Springer. Idk about that.
  2. I don't think there's any chance Scherzer comes here unless we massively overpay. He already had us on his no-trade list, he basically chose to go to the Dodgers. He probably stays with the Dodgers or maybe goes to the Angels
  3. Lineup would look like: Springer-R Bichette-R Guerrero-R Schwarber-L Hernandez-R Gurriel-R Seager/Dickerson-L Kirk/Jansen-R Biggio-L
  4. Not many teams have an exclusive DH these days, but im in the sign Schwarber boat. I actually think it would be great if we could keep Dickerson, try Gurriel at 3B, and sign Schwarber. Along with Biggio that would give us 3 solid LH bats in the lineup. Rotate the DH/LF/1B spot between Vlad, Schwarber, Dickerson. If we don't think Gurriel can handle 3rd, then maybe try to sign Seager instead of Dickerson.
  5. Biggio is a good player, but he sucks at 3rd base. And he wasn’t really healthy most of the year. He’s at least a 3 WAR player at 2B
  6. Don’t really want him around the young guys... plus he’s probably going back to the Mets anyways
  7. Hey im not saying I agree with it, just trying to come up with some reasons why he’s getting less attention then guys like Harper and Tatis
  8. Charlie. Charlie stopped them from salvaging several more wins this year with his absolutely atrocious bullpen usage.
  9. Remember that time Charlie brought in TRAVIS BERGEN against the Rays with the bases loaded in the 9th 2 outs and we were winning 4-3??? Bergen proceeded to walk in 3 runs. May 23rd game. Check the box score and weep.
  10. I remember he blew 3 straight games against the Redsox within the span of like 10 days. Charlie is a GENIEUS
  11. It should be a great game. As a baseball fan, Yanks/Sox wildcard game is about as good as it gets
  12. This is actually attainable, and looks like an extremely solid team. Ramirez might not be possible but I think as long as they get 100wRC+ from 3B with good defense (instead of negative WAR Biggio for 2 months), they should be able to hit 90+ wins.
  13. We all knew it was a terrible trade from the moment it was reported. Hand looked awful this entire season even before he was traded.
  14. Vodka hasn’t worn off yet, I had 5 sho5s
  15. Agree with all of this except maybe try Gurriel at 3B, or think about signing Kyle Seager.
  16. Agreed, but im not even sure he’ll be gone. They already seem to wearing out the “three different home parks” excuse. Maybe next season is his last.
  17. Bullpen wouldn’t have been good enough to beat the Rays or Dodgers IMO. But yeah it was a great team this year and they deserved better
  18. Yup, gonna remember that one the most. Literally done deal, simple ass grounder to 2B. We should have 92 wins
  19. Also Soto missing like 17 meatballs between the 3 games.
  20. Lets just pray we don’t have a lockout/strike next year
  21. You just knew the Jays would miss the playoffs by 1 game earlier in the year. Didn’t expect it to be this crappy though. f***ing Sox coming back from 5-1 and Yankees winning a 1-0 walkoff. Sigh
  22. Why not? Yanks/Sox should be a great game
