    Yuh could you imagine. Yankees fans on a high after nabbing Correa and Ross just unzips and whips his dick out with a Ramirez trade. I’ve been saying a Ramirez + Bieber mega deal makes a lot of sense for the Jays.

    Definitely feels like Correa will be a Yankee. They’ve been missing a solid SS since Didi left, and Gleyber has pretty much been a disaster with the glove.

    Can’t believe the executive board + Boras almost torpedoed the deal and likely the season. Thank god the rest of the player reps aren’t a bunch of mega rich *******s.

    Ideally the Jays will be looking to replace the offense provided by Marcus Semien last season, and the obvious weak spots on the roster would be second and third base. We currently have 4 starters locked in, with some decent depth options with upside like Hatch and Pearson. Adding 1 more quality starter would be ideal. On top of that, an addition or two to the bullpen would help a lot since we had one of the worst pens in the first half last year. Lacking a real quality arm on the level of Chapman/Barnes/Rays guys.

    Refusing to answer yes or no pretty much confirms the answer as a "no", but yeah we can wait to add him to the list until we have a definitive answer.

    What does everyone think of bringing Dickerson back? He’ll probably be a cheap LH option for platoon/off the bench. Played well for us last year. I think he compliments the roster nicely if they cannot get someone better like Schwarber or Conforto

    True, once Grichuk is gone we probably move Springer to RF permanently for the rest of his contract. Gotta look for someone young in CF to solidify the OF defense. But if Bryant is signed, I don’t think he stays at 3B for long either. Corner OF of Springer and Bryant would not be bad at all.

    Niceee. Now with the new playoff format (only top 2 teams in each league are secured an Ds spot) they should just go back to 4 divisions. AL East AL West NL East NL West Maybe when expansion hits and they add 2 more teams. Then the divisions would be balanced at 8 teams each

    Apparently not… I think it says the owners have to give 45 days notice and it can’t be changed during the season. I guess it might be in effect 2023

    Didn’t work to our advantage because our manager is a moron, but yeah I think overall I liked it because you knew the game would be over soon. I think regular extra innings actually favors the Jays since they’re such a big homerun team. I can see a lot of games being won via solo shot in extras for us.
