  1. Pretty sure the bats have just all been cold at the same time since the Twins series
  2. Chapman should have been leading off the entire time Springer was out. I like it
  3. August 17 Vladdy - 1 Point - Springer - 1 Point - Bichette - 2 Points - Stangstag Chapman - 2 Points - Spanky99 Kirk - 2 Points Hernández - 2 Points - Gurriel Jr - 4 Points - Bradley - 4 Points Jansen - 4 Points - Merrifield- 5 Points - Biggio - 6 Points - Espinal - 6 Points Tapia - 8 Points - Off the bench: 10 Points
  4. Orioles pushing our s*** in is definitely not fun. Jays aren’t this bad and Os aren’t this good. Something’s gotta give
  5. Kirk has been pretty bad lately too, idk about 4th
  6. Several years of control too. He could definitely become something good
  7. https://www.fangraphs.com/standings/playoff-odds
  8. When did you become such a doomer? Thought you were smarter than this
  9. Could have been a historic division comeback even greater than 2015. Ah well, wasn’t meant to be
  10. This is true, but all will be forgotten if they can have a strong September push like they did last year. Finish strong and carry it into the playoffs would be best case scenario IMO. I will definitely admit this lull is concerning, but I don’t expect them to play like this for the rest of the year. The starting rotation has been dogshit this month and the offense has gone cold. Neither of those will last
  11. Good hook by Hyde here
  12. Yeah this year he’s super un-clutch and gets lots of homers/doubles when nobody is on base and it doesn’t really matter
  13. He’s a better CF backup option over Tapia IMO. But I don’t really think he should be starting at 2B over anyone else we have. Maybe next year he can turn it around with the numbers
  14. Agreed. Kikuchi is a lost cause for this year at least. Focus on something in the offseason/spring training. If he still looks like s*** then try him in the pen.
  15. Score 2 runs and make it close… give it all right back next inning. Offense has to start picking things up
  16. Awful defense on display this inning
  17. That first pitch was the best of the at bat, should’ve swung through it. Ah well
  18. That was an absolutely awful pitch to Mountcastle jesus christ
  19. August 15 Vladdy - 1 Point - LTBF, JaysAllMighty Springer - 1 Point - Jonn, Omar Bichette - 2 Points - Chapman - 2 Points - Spanky69, Jays4life69 Hernández - 2 Points - Gurriel Jr - 4 Points - Dylan Jansen - 4 Points - Stangstag Merrifield - 5 Points - P2F Tapia - 8 Points - Off the bench: 10 Points - Wilko
  20. Yoooof big blow
  21. The Arte Moreno special
  22. I agree. Downtown Toronto is way better than most of the other big cities like NY, Chicago, LA, etc. I just visited Vancouver (stayed downtown for like a week) and the amount of homeless/crackheads was very noticeably worse than Toronto. I didn’t even go anywhere near the supposed “bad parts” of downtown Vancouver. Views were great and the weather was nice but its not worth it IMO
  23. Lol yeah. Part of Tapia’s problem IMO is he is very lazy majority of the time. He always looks like he’s dogging it in the OF and on the bases, especially on groundouts. Like my dude, speed is the one thing you do well you need to bust your ass down that line every single time. He could easily have a handful of infield hits if he put more effort in.
