  4. Stangstag
He really needs to stop running to first before the call is made though.
  5. Stangstag
    Lolll
  6. Stangstag
Vlad swung at ball 5,6 and 7 too
  7. Stangstag
Vlad is getting tons of strikes called against him because he’s being a meatball. Picking up some bad habits
  8. Stangstag
Seems like we can never get the pitching and offense on the same page. Always gotta be a close game
  9. Stangstag
Jesus christ lol. Hard hit balls, babip luck. Brutalizing this guy
  10. Stangstag
    Great start!

Yeah getting swept by the Angels there was sad. Definitely shoul have won that Manoah game. Need to play the Rays tough next week. Anything less than 2-3 is an absolute failure IMO. 3-2 would be nice.

    Nice save Romano!

If they don’t sub Zimmer into the OF now the decision is even weirder
  16. Stangstag
He’s so close to breaking out though
  17. Stangstag
    Ugh Kirk that was awful
  18. Stangstag
    I want home wildcard
  19. Stangstag
Wait til we discover Charlie was fired because he wanted more Biggio in the OF while the front office told him not to do it and play Tapia/Zimmer instead.

Not saying speeding up the game is bad thing, just that it really doesn’t change much in the way of “growing the sport”

I think we can both agree there’s a myriad of reasons Baseball is not more popular, and we can probably both agree that game time/speed has almost nothing to do with it.

Its f***ing lunacy that we’re running out JBJ and Tapia instead of Biggio. Front office must have a hard stance of NO BIGGIO IN THE OF

    September 9th Vladdy - 1 Point - Springer - 1 Point - Bichette - 1 Point - Kirk - 2 Points - JaysAllMighty Chapman - 2 Points - Jansen - 3 Points - Stangstag Bradley - 5 Points - Espinal - 6 Points - Tapia - 8 Points - Off the bench: 10 Points-

Yeah I agree with this. He’s used to being the best player on the field on any given night and he’s not adjusting to the fact that he’s now hitting against some of the greatest pitchers on the planet.

Speeding up the game won’t do s*** for popularity. I’ve always said the reason baseball is less popular is because there are too many games. Its also the reason football is most popular in America. Its obvious people prefer less time commitment for the sports teams they follow. Less time commitment = more casuals = more fans overall Its the reason Soccer is the most popular sport in the world
