News flash, the better team doesn’t automatically win the series I know it may be your first year watching baseball, but pay a little more attention
  2. Stangstag
This one is on the offense. Frustrating
  3. Stangstag
Little here is throwing in the towel, come on JS
  4. Stangstag
    May have to
  5. Stangstag
But like, most of those are swinging strikeouts on pitches in the zone? So im not sure how this supports your claim that he “doesn’t see the zone” He’s just missing some pitches
  6. Stangstag
Hoffman been great so far other than facing that buzzsaw Langeliers
  7. Stangstag
Nah you go for the win there. Double in the gap Kirk doesn’t score
  8. Stangstag
Game shouldn’t even be this close, we have a bazillion LOB
  9. Stangstag
Im not really gonna be mad about bullpen decisions this early in the year, especially after 6 games in a row with an extra inning game + a starter going down early. Too bad Nance looked pretty awful. Fluharty been great though

Varland must be unavailable? And I guess saving Hoffman for the 9th
  11. Stangstag
    So Nance still stinks
  12. Stangstag
Barger do you know you don’t have to swing if its not in the zone?
  13. Stangstag
    Gausman is sick
  14. Stangstag
I feel like 3 WAR is a reasonable expectation each year for him
  15. Stangstag
With the results mostly being W though i’ll take it
  16. Stangstag
This entire week has been a rehash of games 6 and 7 of the WS

Or he’s guessing wrong, or the timing is off, or he’s pressing with the bases loaded. There are many things that could be going through his mind. He seems to have pretty good plate discipline overall.

I did not like what I saw from him in batting practice before the game the other day. Everything was oppo line drives. Pull the fking ball Vlad, jesus
  19. Stangstag
He was only under contract for 1 year though. Ponce still has a spot on this team next year
  20. Stangstag
Watch Freeland blank us for 6 innings
  21. Stangstag
Just…. Wow. Remember the dark days when we had to live with calls from this asshat?
  22. Stangstag
Varland kinda the same TBH. If these guys had better location they’d both be elite. It is what it is.

Nice win! Even though we blew a ton of chances to score they still managed to sneak a few through. Sanchez is looking like Barger 2.0 maybe. Kind of a rough day for Okamoto but he did have an RBI single so i’ll give him a pass. Nice to see Scherzer back in blue again

Take your 6 innings from Max and turn it over to the pen IMO. Nice start to the season for him
  25. Stangstag
It was a very close call with bases loaded. Situationally thats exactly when you wanna challenge
