There hasn’t been a single season, i’ve checked the previous 10 years but I would bet it goes back way further than that, where 92 wins wouldn’t be enough for a 3rd wildcard spot. (Assuming the Central team sucks with like 90 wins) You’re saying 5 teams in the American League East/West will have 95 wins or higher?? 5 out of the 10 teams (including Oakland) will have 95 wins?? No shot

    Maybe Jays FO is banking on the fact that most other teams in the running won’t see him as a SS. I could see him choosing to stay with the Jays if the money is close but they guarantee him the SS spot

    Stroman would have helped in 2021 and 2022 though.... and the contract would be nearing its end by now. Ahhh hindsight is wonderful ain't it. Who knows how things would have gone down.

    I don't think his Knee has been 100% healthy, even to start the season. Because yeah he just doesn't seem to crush any balls anymore

    I watched a few clips and noticed a lot of middle-middle pitches that the Rays were just not hitting today.... makes you wonder. They are supposed to be best in the league BY FAR at this.

    Their FO insistence on receiving 3-4 pieces for every trade is the main issue. They prefer having more mediocre pieces instead of 1 or 2 good players, and they haven't "hit" on a diamond in the rough in ages. They really need to change their whole front office mindset on assessing trade pieces coming back.
