  1. He was never the ace, Gausman has always been better
  2. The offense is legit but I can see their pitching taking a nosedive. It really hinges on the health of Eovaldi and DeGrom. Gray and Perez have been extremely lucky/overperforming and Heaney is just ok.
  3. Yup he’s been surprisingly consistent even after the abysmal start last year
  4. Just look at the ROS projections and both (Suarez/Wong) are pretty far off. Idk why you’d say you agree with Teo’s but not theirs
  5. I see a lot of guys in that lineup underperforming, probably a good bet their offense will be better for the remainder of the season. Teo, Suarez, Wong, Julio all have the capacity to hit much better than their current numbers. Wong has been an absolute disaster for them so far. Pollock is probably projected to be better too. Plus I definitely see them making a big splash at the deadline like they did last year.
  6. I'll take that bet if you want it
  7. Have you checked strength of schedule at all?? Rangers have literally had the easiest SoS in the majors so far, and have the 4th hardest going forward. They will fall off. Seattle will finish ahead of them.
  8. Rays game was 10-1 when they used Raley no?
  9. Yeah I thought they would’ve made the move a couple starts ago, but something definitely has to be done now. At this point you’re just completely destroying any remaining confidence Manoah had and punting every 5th game. Get someone like Francis or Pearson in there for a few starts, get Manoah working on things in the minors and get him back up here in a month or two.
  10. Orelvis for 5th/depth starter trade incoming
  11. Areas around the dome are pretty safe. Really only see homeless hanging around near the subway stations or the underpass near the aquarium but they’re never the loud/scary homeless types
  12. They won’t make the playoffs
  13. It’s embarrassing for the him and the front office, he should’ve been gone 2-3 starts ago
  14. Also why do we refuse to use position players to pitch instead of wasting decent arms?? Good teams like the Rays do it… actually seems like EVERY team does it except the Jays
  15. Welcome to the board. Hope you enjoy your trip! 1) Biggest enemy at the moment is probably the Yankees, constantly smug f***ers with a massive payroll and a bunch of cheater shitbags. Plus we are directly competing with them since we share the same division. 2) Favorite player? Shohei Ohtani because he’s a unicorn. Favorite Jay? Probably Bo or Vlad, both great young players that were drafted/signed super young and developed by the farm systems. 3) Some good new food options located at “the stop” in the 100s. I’d also recommend the brisket nachos which can be found in several sections around the stadium. You could also buy cheap snacks outside the stadium and bring them in (prices inside are extremely expensive, think 16$ for a small thing of nachos) 4) Key apparel would be a cap or player jersey, or a shirsey for cheaper. People tend to like the vintage gear commemorating the 92/93 back to back championships since that never goes out of style.
  16. He claims he was “too lazy” to fill out the paperwork and actually get on the show, but yeah he probably got rejected
  17. If you’re going specifically to see a pitcher, those are perfect seats. You’ll actually be able to see balls and strikes and break.
  18. That dude has 0 survival instinct
  19. Yeah he clearly needed more spring at bats because he looked straight up awful for a the first couple weeks
