    Dude needs to quiet his appetite… for bad pitches. He swings at too much garbage and puts himself in bad counts. Needs to take more walks. Look at the walk rate from 2021 compared to the last 2 years.

    Maybe he’s just to stupid to win the mind games at the major league level? Vlad’s mentality is basically “swing as hard as I can at any pitch in the strike zone”. I don’t think he ever goes up to the plate with a plan.

    Idk what happened since the first few weeks of the season, but the sac flies have pretty much completely vanished. Just cashing some sac flies would have won us a couple more games.

    Massive disappointment. Glad we never extended him. Probably only a Blue Jay for 2 more years. Also wouldn’t be completely shocked to see him turn it around with another team, ala Ozuna. Just to f*** us harder. Incoming LTBF gif

    That’s just it, if the guys were hitting like their projections or at least CLOSE to them, we’d probably be 1st place. Vlad, Varsho and Kirk have been a MASSIVE disappointment. Like massive massive. Way below projections. Springer hasn’t been good either but he’s showing signs of life now. Always a handful of underachievers on the Jays it seems like
