Oh im not saying I agree with the opinion that AA > Shatkins overall, but I am saying that its not a very controversial take.

His work in Atlanta has been remarkable but I don’t think he would have had the same level of success if he didn’t try and fail in Toronto, then go on to learn more in the Dodgers front office. He was much better-equipped his second go around as GM.
