    I think keeping Cavan away from 3rd is more like “don’t mess with a good thing”. His issues all began when he was annointed the opening day 3B in 2021 and it just spiraled from there.

    They could probably trade Judge to the Mets or Angels or something if they really wanted too. Judge to the Mets, Cole to the Angels would free up a ton of salary that they would then have to spend wisely. Can’t see Cashman swallowing his pride there though, so they’ll probably just continue throwing money at the team and hovering around a playoff spot each year
