Frustrating series, but it wasn’t a blasting like many were expecting. All 3 games were winnable to the very end. Caught some bad breaks and bounces. Could’ve hit better.

Probably being pressed by the front office. We will continue to see Varland in high-leverage situations for the next 2 or 3 seasons whether he’s good or not.
Again, similar to the Varsho situation this could look a lot more favorable in a couple years. Not really fair to judge a trade like this with multiple years in the first season.
