    I'm specifically talking about the hands thing. Everybody kept saying "lawrie has stone hands" and stuff like that. Now he is one of the best defenders at 3B in the league.

    I'll chime in on the Travis debate. I agree with Gruber, he has bobbled ALOT of balls hit to him, not just 3. I watched a game a couple weeks ago and specifically remember him bobbling the only 2 balls that were hit to him. This could be a concern, but im sure he'll improve. Travis actually reminds me of Lawrie on defense when he first came up. Lawrie improved drastically, im confident that Travis improve.

    I disagree. We've got Hutch and Stroman, Sanchez and Norris will be a year more seasoned, Osuna and others will likely be in AAA, and the SP free agent crop is very good next offseason. Dickey can be replaced by a younger, better pitcher for a slightly higher salary.

    Nope. Apparently 70% of the posters on this forum have never followed a full season of baseball before. Everything in spring training matters. Bad performances are very telling, and muscle soreness is a death sentence.

    True. I guess im just annoyed because we get a new article about Norris and his f***ing van every week. I get it, Norris lives in a van. Why do we have to keep talking about it week after week.

    Just read through this thread, and I have to say I am pretty disappointed with the material/quality. Jonn is a f***ing douche. If this thread is any indication of how the board will be when the real season starts, I probably wont even bother coming here very often. I think the mods need to clean this place up a bit.
