Man, imagine being Stanton. Good looking guy, like 6foot6, 25 years old, knows he's gauranteed to make 300 million dollars. Plus he could end up being one of the best power hitters in MLB history if he keeps improving. Crazy life.
Yeah i think it's pretty ridiculous that guys like Bonds won't get into the hall because of idiot voters.
Steroids or not, he was one of the best hitters in the game EVER.
Yeah you're right about that. That didn't happen in the book, and its one of the times that the show has misstepped.
What about the times Jaime saved Brienne?
Tyrion is a Lannister and the only family he cares for and only lannister that cares for him, is Jaime.
You're really understating the show. Its alot deeper than you're giving it credit for.
Wrong again. Jaime for example, he sacrificed his honor by killing the king, in order to save the people of King's landing and put his family (not including himself since he's a Kingsguard) in a position of power.
Cersei is motivated by her children. Her only goal is to keep them safe, but she goes way overboard to the point where she is a crazy bitch about it.
And for the record I would say Jaime Lannister IS overall a good guy. And Tyrion is obviously good too.
You're underselling the show. There is a significant amount of "who is good and evil", "what actions are justified", etc.
Also most of the deaths on the show serve a purpose. They are mainly there to further the plot.
I mean the show isn't perfect, but its pretty damn good. Definitely the best show currently running.
It's definitely not for everyone. If you are the kind of person who doesn't give their full attention when watching TV, its not for you. You really need to pay 100% attention when watching GoT in order to understand all the intricacies.
Even then, if fantasy or political scheming isn't your thing, then you probably won't like the show.
Yeah like seriously, what a f***ing idiot. Why is he hanging around people like that? He's a millionaire for f***s sake. He's close to throwing it all away.
