  1. I agree. Trout doesn't run nearly as much any more, which closes the gap substantially. Power is sexy too, I'd almost rather own Stanton anyway just cause he's more fun to watch.
  2. K well now you both have to get new team names, unless those were also in the deal.
  3. As far as a Mike Trout trade goes, seems pretty fair.
  4. Most of my posts are completely unnecessary.
  5. Wow, you're really benching Trumbo and Choo in favour of Brad Miller and Tommy Pham? I didn't realize they'd been THAT bad. Trumbo's OPS is a putrid .400 over the last month.
  6. I badly wanted Reyes in that draft, although I really don't think his overall package is nearly as good as Giolito's. Reyes has great stuff but the control needs a lot of work.
  7. If I still had Shields, I'd be much more okay with Gio's ascension. Shields is still good. Cliff Lee is a dead body.
  8. Swish was a good switch hitter, I suspect Winker will be totally hapless against major league lefties.
  9. God DAMN you Cliff Lee... Lucas Giolito is FIPing 1.68 and should be in AA any week now.
  10. Where's the power though? He's got a .255 AVG and .123 ISO in AA through 92 games. That wRC+ is largely built on his impressive walk rate, but he won't be able to maintain that walk rate in the majors unless he's going to hit, and hit for power. You're talking about a strictly LF defensive profile, so unless the power comes around he's just another Robbie Grossman.
  11. He's carrying my offense in Arencibia Classic.
  12. Actually it was a tough decision! I nearly rejected it several times in favour of just rolling with Danny Valencia. Ultimately I think I can get more utility out of Aramis, but it wasn't a slam dunk decision by any means. I was a rhetoric major, though.
  13. Aramis has hit well for a month or so, I just need to get some produkshun while Miggy is on the DL being fat. Rendon is still getting some saves, Joe Maddon is just trolling fantasy owners.
  14. Ugh, I feel seriously disgusting trading a borderline keeper for the Aramis Ramirez Farewell Tour.
  15. If you mean in fantasy, then I vehemently disagree.
  16. I think he can get to a .330 OBP with 80 runs and 20+ steals, maybe more in peak years. It's not a zero in this format. Let's also not lose sight of the fact that H are a category in this league, one that he should excel at. I think he can be Alcides with a better OBP.
