You need at least two star-level offensive options to be a contender in the NBA. DeRozan isn't that and never will be, he's a volume scorer who really can't make things happen against elite teams.
It's not dumn at all. This team drastically over-performed in the 1st half. There's a very real chance this isn't even a .500 team next year. I fail to see how Joseph is going to replace the output of Lou and Vasquez in the backcourt, we're going to be really f***ed when Lowry inevitably hits the wall and gets dinged up.
I think I picked Buerhle ahead of Buttholz in the waiver draft, IIRC. That was a boner. Then I drafted Ben Revere and dropped him pretty much right before he started being useful.
Did snag Familia though.
Hey, just wondering if I can get an Eric Hosmer update. I assume he's still OPSing 1.000 and is a top 10 player in this format, rite?
There's definitely no way he's regressed back to his old numbers or will fall short of 20 HR, that I'm sure of.
I'm not really sure how Karns is getting so many Ks with pedestrian velo and whiff rates, but I'm willing to see where this goes. Nice three-pitch mix, I think I'll find room for him in my 20.
