Fair and accurate write-up! I don’t regret my purge, if only because it needed to happen to keep me interested in staying in the league. I would maybe have held Devers for a better return, but I liked the idea of him going to Spanky to keep the contender pool more spicy. I’m very okay with a couple of bottom out years, I don’t think the rebuild will take as long as the haters do. My prospect knowledge has improved exponentially since I initiated the teardown, and actually I think the bullpen is going to be better than expected, with Joyce and Hodge already emerging as elite young closers. If Guerrero had started hitting earlier in the season, things could have gone very differently for me, but there’s no use in crying over spilt milk! If Jose Fernandez didn’t do coke I’d have multiple championships and probably have retired by now… c’est la vie!

The non-playoff teams all have an equal % chance at the 1st overall pick. Tanking for Cooper Flagg is not an effective strategy, sadly for me.

Ok, I'm making an executive decision and ending the draft after Round 6. Connor can make one pick, Spanky still has two picks that he can make. Free agency will begin tomorrow morning at 9 am. Any pickups made before then will be reversed.
