    Pretty slim chance he continues to perform at the level he has for the Jays. One win is nice, it's not a huge reward by any means.

    19 good innings is not a high reward acquisition. We are literally talking about 0.3 WAR. You are vastly overrating the contributions of middle relievers IMO.

    No, I don't remember that. I remember a bunch of thinking "who the hell is he?" when we drafted Pentecost. Most of the mock drafts didn't have him going in the 1st round IIRC.

    I don't mind the Feldman and Benoit pick ups, but it's a real stretch to try and paint them as high reward acquisitions.

    Wow, Reese McGuire too? He's better than Josh Thole right now. I'm actually loving this deal. The Pirates must have been pretty desperate to shed Liriano's salary two give up two potentially average major league regulars on top of him.

    It's hard to give up a young lefty who sits near 96. I picked him up because I thought he could be an elite reliever, but then he ended up halving his BB rate. I'll be interested to see where he gets redrafted next year, he's pulling a Carrasco.

    Spanky has been holding Duffy for years I think, finally paid off. In BORED I picked him up as a FA, dropped him, and picked him up again. Almost let a diamond in the rough get away.

    Just swapped Familia for Brach, so I'm pretty set for now. If Davis comes back this season I might move one of Watson or Dyson.

    Harold Ramirez alone is probably more valuable than Hutch. This is a salary dump, and I still like Liriano's chance to be good again at some point. The strikeouts and stuff are still there, and he was a viable SP2 as recently as last season.

    FML, now Betances is a closer too. Hurl has made me a solid offer for Watson. Anybody else want to bid a Holder for one of my Closers? Watson, Dyson, Familia available.

    2018 debut is more realistic, although I wouldn't count on him being a contributor right away. He'll probably spend all of 2017 in AA.
