  1. Who the f*** is Hernan Perez? I picked this guy up having never heard of him, now he has 39 HR + SB in 300 AB. The Brewers are just running wild on the bases.
  2. Travis' hand is probably still bugging him, that's the only logical explanation.
  3. Joe Carter is easily the most overrated Blue Jay of all time. He barely had more WAR as a Jay than Colby Rasmus. Overrated hitter; god awful defensively. You hit one timely home run and you're a god forever, I guess.
  4. I thought about sending you a Broxton for Gio offer last night but I didn't feel the hype was quite ripe for that.
  5. I would have gone with Toles over Schebler. Keon Broxton is better than both tho.
  6. I actually don't even know what team Pedro Baez is on off the top of my head.
  7. I don't know wtf North is doing. The Cutch trade was pretty gross IMO.
  8. I asked on Happ and the request was the player currently ranked #10 overall. Can't blame speedy for trying, but he was never going to get that kind of return.
  9. I saw that you picked him up and I find it extremely hilarious. I hope he torches your ratios all throughout the playoffs. Let me just dig up the PM where you said he's not even as good as Rajai Davis (which you were absolutely correct on).
  10. Actually those are metaphors, not similies. I've seen people say "Greenwood got raped on that deal," or "that's straight-up rape," but never "that trade is so lopsided it's like a raping."
  11. IMO they'd ask for Stroman straight up.
  12. Who actually still says this?
  13. I would actually love to acquire McCutchen right now. Taking a look under his hood, his depressed numbers are mostly just a byproduct of being too aggressive this year, his selectivity has gone down. He's bounced back lately, and IMO, he's just way too young and too good to be a steep decline candidate at this point in time. He'd be a perfect acquisition target for the Jays in the offseason.
  14. As long as it's a net improvement, it doesn't matter how. I'm not saying I would do the deal, but I do think it's worth considering that Sanchez may never be this good again. He does have a long history of control problems, and that issue rarely goes away permanently.
  15. I offered you several blockbusters that you sat on for more than a week before declining. Can't say you didn't have any action.
  16. Yeah, any contender needs to be aggressive about upgrading the bullpen as the deadline nears, that's a rookie mistake. It can be the last piece you add, but you still can't neglect it.
  17. You lost to the best team actually, the week before those.
  18. BB's team is kinda interesting. I wonder at which point it's better to be competitive in both hitting and pitching rather than dominant in one and weak in the other. At this point it seems all but certain he's going to miss the playoffs, although losing Trevor Story and Strasburg down the stretch definitely has a lot to do with that.
  19. That trade is impossible in August since Sanchez would never clear waivers.
