  1. This is exactly like your fat person/scale argument. You may have to be fat, but you don't have to step on my scale.
  2. I've pumped those tires a bit and no one cares. The projections don't know he changed his swing last year, so the boxies of the world will dismiss him out of hand.
  3. Why? I already traded him. What is it to you? I am allowed to like players. I don't own any shares of Broxton so you can take your nefarious assumptions and be gone.
  4. It's relevant insofar as it's better than seeing him K 50% of the time and do nothing. Nobody is expecting him to be Ken Griffey Jr based on Spring Training.
  5. Probably just because boxy gets triggered exceptionally easily and gets super bothered when other people have nice things. When you've had as much fantasy failure as he has, it's just natural to try to drag other people down.
  6. Can we let the Rangers thing go already? We knocked them out of the playoffs two years in a row. Isn't that enough?
  7. He might actually be an interesting spec play, as I assume the Rockies are going to trade for him any day now.
  8. Hmm, a steak pizza would go pretty well with the Arencibia Memorial Classic draft. Just need to add beer.
  9. I'd put your eggs in the A.J. Reed basket, that's a breakout that might actually happen.
  10. Yeah, Pillar absolutely has elite exit velo, walk rates, and SB rates. Totally comparable players.
  11. That walk rate can really carry his whiff issues. His final fantasy line could look something like Starling Marte 2015: 80/20/80/30, .335/.445. Probably a bit less on the ribbies, I guess. Still, that could be a borderline Top 50 player in this format.
  12. 30 SB kinda seems like the low end, if he plays a full season. The Brewers just DNGAF about CS. They let everybody run wild, and last year Broxton stole at a clip of 57 SB per 600 PA.
  13. Damn, Neon Keon is having a huge spring.
  14. Yep, I have. Vlad has been anointed the next big bat by the larger baseball community, virtually overnight. His ascent has been meteoric for a teenager and I definitely didn't expect him to get this much attention this quickly.
  15. That seems like a pretty good list. A bit high on Corey Ray for me, tho.
  16. I would have thought he'd have 3B eligibility. As a 1B-only he really holds no interest in 20 teamer, and it looks like A.J. Reed may steal his job.
  17. Sal Perez blew out his knee on a collision at the plate. Yikes.
  18. That's a useless generalization.
  19. Heh Zack Greinke topped out at 89.5 mph with his fastball Wednesday in his start against Team Mexico. And the high-priced right-hander was mostly sitting around 88 mph in that start, per beat writer Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic.
  20. If NJH cost me Ricky Nolasco, I know I'd hold a grudge forever.
  21. How the f*** did former org guy/utility nobody Ryan Schimpf hit 35 HR last season? If Miguel Sano or Joey Gallo had his season, I would have considered it a success.
  22. Maybe just leave Crawford in FA agency for now and no one touches him until you make a roster move for Blanton?
  23. Ok, Miggy is officially OFF the trade block!
