Oh wow, Matt Moore's career walk rate isn't as bad as I thought.

Stop rounding up, dicktits. His walk rate more than doubled in the majors and then really fell into garbage territory this year. MATT MOORE!

He wasn't really that good in his MLB innings anyway. Mediocre SwStr % and s***** BB rate. If the shoulder surgery costs him a couple ticks, he could wind up as a reliever.

Urias is out for 14 months after shoulder surgery, who knows if he'll ever be good again? However, I do agree that AG probably should have put his name out there before dealing him, since he has considerable name value.

The Blue Jays’ top prospect has preternatural feel for barreling the ball and his power is already coming through in flashes. If Gyorko could get 5 starts at SS, I'd be real stoked about this.

Well, Cozens does lead the International League in HR currently, and Hoskins is 2nd. I'd say Kingery's power potential has jumped from 40 last year to at least 50 now. He could push 20 HR in the bigs some years. He's already 20/20 for the season.

Bottom line is when you're a journeyman catcher in your mid-30s, you really shouldn't talk s*** about the staff ace, even if he's in the wrong. It kinda reminds me of Shea Hillenbrand, another player who clearly overstepped the mark and was quickly run out of baseball.

That's called "pop time" and coaches have been recording it with stopwatches for decades. That's how 1st base coaches decide whether or not to give a baserunner the green light to steal, you see them all the time giving time readings to the runner. The runner knows what kind of pop time he can personally beat.

Speaking of which, FTD would be a perfect buyer for Beltre.

I would gladly buy Beltre if my 3B/life-partner wasn't already out-earning Arenado and Bryant.

Yeah that's off the table now that I have Kimbrel. I did give it a lot of consideration, however that player is someone I really didn't want to part with. You admittedly offered better value than P2F, but with him I was able to do a deal without giving up that guy.

Also because he walks an atrociously unacceptable ratio of hitters.
