    I’ve made some offers in recent weeks but haven’t gotten much traction. Doesn’t help that I’ve repeatedly mortgaged the future and have a threadbare farm. Normally a team in my standing would rebuild, but I am pot-committed and have to hope that Vlad, Alcantara, Correa, and Stanton can return to form in the second half. I also have like 13 pitchers on the IR, which can’t be ideal. Still, would be very willing to trade my 1st rounder/any prospects for a helpful upgrade, particularly in pitching.

    Eh, he’s not very good and he’s got a lot of bad PR right now. I’d say it’s 50/50. He could very well end up facing a demotion although the Jays would probably just release him outright in that scenario, or as Hurl says he would refuse the assignment and become a FA, but he still may end up in the minors elsewhere.
