  1. I haven't noticed if Price is shaking off any pitches? Is he following Martin's calls?
  2. Why don't the bunch of you who feel the game is over just leave so others can take in the game without undue negativity? You really are making this harder than is necessary.
  3. It was already past him. The Royals sure do have the luck with them so far. Hopefully the Jays can shut this down right here and get some momentum going for them.
  4. lo. what an "excuse me" bunt by Pillar - good break.
  5. ... maybe cuz 1 fool said to another fool: "Duhhhh, wouldn't it be redonculously funny if we wore our "Oilers" to a baseball game? To which the other fool responded: "That's like... Really?... omg, fysmc, let's do it."
  6. Off the field he is a different person - Still competitive, very business oriented and without the negative attitude.
  7. The behaviour gets a little tiring to see but when your own fans start to feel this way you know it is bordering on being obnoxious. He comes across as a very intense, single-minded individual while at the plate and that is good but, in my opinion, he can rein it in a bit and not lose anything. I know it cannot be easy being out there playing under intense, "do or die" situations and I can accept the fact that emotions can become explosive and almost uncontrollable at the same time. From my perspective (sitting in my lazyboy chair with food and beverages at hand in a comfortable environment) I do not think the attitude is necessary to have that zoned-in focused approach at the plate but then again, I do not get paid millions to perform at that level on such a stage so it is relatively easy for me to have this position.
  8. His absence is still shrouded in mystery however this was posted on Oct 14th: "It's a family matter, it's a delicate thing for us to even talk about it," said general manager Alex Anthopoulos. "We're there to support him with whatever he needs."
  9. Doesn't matter since I talk to myself. I say what's on my mind and get it out of my system. At least I feel better afterwards.
  10. The start was a major disappointment for sure - nobody wanted to see this. I guess some people are more emotionally balanced and still believe in their Jays than others. What adds salt to the wound is to have to hear them resurrect trade moves (cuz they were smarter than Alex) all over again. Those trade moves were beaten to death in the past and it really doesn't add anything positive to the thread. The Jays are actually in the post season because of the cumulative trades so it would be nice of that was left in the past. Hindsight shows that some moves were not all that good but no one, as far as I know, has a working crystal ball. It would be nice if fans could be supportive rather than try to come off as if they have answers for the current woes or that they would have done better if they were the GM. At least the fans at the Rogers Centre are being supportive and having fun unlike the pessimistic, egotistical, whiners I see in here.
  11. They have been practicing whole season so they are in ripping form now.
  12. Apparently a lot of people in here do not recognize that they are not a weak team. They can put runs up quite quickly as well. Zobrist is another thorn in the Jays side.
  13. I feel the same about the BP as well. Cecil going down created a huge hole there.
  14. ... and good contributions from Pillar as well.
  15. That last clip showed something different. The three of them were not even close and yet he got himself (or his huge ego) involved when it was not even warranted. I really see it differently from you.
  16. Unbelievable, umps making it about them again.
  17. Maybe he is being saved on the off-chance one starter, over the next 2 games, cannot make it thru 3 or 4 innings? Who else in the BP can go a few innings?
  18. It's nice to hear this come out. And as I suspected, the media just keep asking the same silly questions over and over because they are not getting the answer they want to hear then they show a clip which can easily be taken out of context especially when the rest of the interview is not shown in its entirety.
  19. I think so but most probably on a short leash. Onus has an injury and Cecil is not there.
