The behaviour gets a little tiring to see but when your own fans start to feel this way you know it is bordering on being obnoxious.
He comes across as a very intense, single-minded individual while at the plate and that is good but, in my opinion, he can rein it in a bit and not lose anything.
I know it cannot be easy being out there playing under intense, "do or die" situations and I can accept the fact that emotions can become explosive and almost uncontrollable at the same time. From my perspective (sitting in my lazyboy chair with food and beverages at hand in a comfortable environment) I do not think the attitude is necessary to have that zoned-in focused approach at the plate but then again, I do not get paid millions to perform at that level on such a stage so it is relatively easy for me to have this position.
